Theological English Enhancement Course (TEEC)
If you are an international student and need to improve your English in order to qualify for enrollment at PRTS, we offer an on-campus Theological English Enhancement Course (TEEC).
WHAT IS THE TEEC?
The TEEC is an intensive English-language course that equips students with theological English for future study at PRTS. The course is held at PRTS from mid-May through mid-August.
The deadline is February 15 (although later applications can be considered). To be considered for the TEEC, first apply for a degree program (MA, MDiv, or ThM), and in this application indicate your desire to take the TEEC.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Prospective international students who qualify for PRTS admittance and meet ONE of the requirements below:
- a score between 68-84 on the TOEFL
- a score of 6.5 or less on the IELTS
- a combined score of 40+ in the reading and writing sections of the TOEFL
- a score of 6.5+ in reading and 6+ in writing on the IELTS
HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?
The course is 12 weeks long.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The cost is $5,000 USD (including course materials and TOEFL exam fee).
