Thiago Machado Silva

Doctoral Student in Systematic Theology

Thiago is a doctoral candidate at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in the area of Systematic Theology. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from the Seminário Presbiteriano do Sul (Presbyterian Seminary of the South) in Campinas, Brazil (2009-2012); and a ThM in Systematic Theology from Calvin Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA (2014-2016). In 2017 he joined the faculty of the Seminário Presbiteriano do Sul, in Brazil where he has been teaching Systematic Theology and serving as the editor of the theological journal, Revista Teológica.

Thiago was ordained as a minister of the Presbyterian Church of Brazil in 2013 and since 2017 he has been pastoring a Presbyterian congregation in the city of Limeira-SP, Brazil. He is married to his wife Lidia.
