Full-time Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Waynesboro, GA

Full-time Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Waynesboro, GA
First Presbyterian Church in Waynesboro, GA is seeking a full-time pastor. Waynesboro itself is a very small, rural town in eastern Georgia, population of 5500, in Burke County, a population of 22,500. There are many churches, with quite a few still having evening services. There are many farmers in our county. It is a community where we know and interact with people from various walks of life and see them about town. We enjoy living here personally. Before the pandemic, a group of believers was hosting a monthly preaching service and lunch fellowship downtown with a particular view in mind to offer reformed preaching and to encourage godly fellowship between believers of the local congregations, which hopefully can begin again this summer.

Here is the website for the church:

If anyone at PRTS would actually like to come in person and consider the opening, we would be pleased to meet him and host him and his family in our home, which is about 10 minutes from the church. Please contact Jack at 706.551.3750 or [email protected]. If calling, please leave a message or follow up with a text as he can be difficult to reach. He will welcome your contact.

We have no greater joy than to see gospel ministers preach the glorious truths of Scripture. It would be a delight to us to see a solidly reformed preacher combining heat and light come to our little place in this world, for the glory of our great God and the building up of His church.
