Dr. Marjolein de Blois

Chief of Staff / Director of MA Program

Marjolein is a doctoral student at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in the area of Biblical Studies.  She is specializing in the life and teachings of Christ and its practical outworking in the Christian life.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology at the University of Leiden, The Netherlands, where she was born. In 2017, Marjolein graduated from the MA program at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, where she is currently pursuing further studies.

Focus

Subject Area and Specialization   My interest lies in biblical theology, with an emphasis on exegetical studies in both the Old and New Testament. My provisional field of study is in the concept of perceived insignificance and powerlessness in the Gospel of Matthew, together with sociological, intertestamental and exegetical studies of biblical sources and comparative studies with extra-biblical sources.
