Namsik Yang
Doctoral Student in Historical Theology
• www.rpkorea.orgNamsik entered the doctoral program at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in Historical Theology in 2019. Prior to this, he earned a ThM from PRTS and an MDiv from Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary (Pittsburgh, PA). His research interests center on the nature and roles of the Church office of doctor/teacher in the context of the Scottish Church.
In addition to being a doctoral student at PRTS, Namsik is an ordained minister of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America (RPCNA) and runs a publishing house (Gentle Rain) with an earnest and humble desire for reformation in his home country, Korea.
Namsik is married to his wife Eun, and they have three children (Yeasol, Chansol, and Minsol).
