Grand Rapids / Sacramento—Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary (“PRTS”) and Reformed Baptist Seminary (Sacramento) (“RBS”) today announced a strategic partnership of the establishment of a collaborative Master Program. This strategic partnership exemplifies the vision of the strengthening and sharing of resources in the service of the academy and church.

Students of RBS can continue and complete their studies at PRTS with an accredited MDiv and / or MA program.

Joel R. Beeke, President of PRTS comments, “We trust that, by God’s grace, this newly established cooperative program, which stresses both solid Reformed academic training and vital piety, will serve the church and the academy in unprecedented ways, strengthening the Reformed and Reformed Baptist community worldwide.”

Robert Briggs, President of RBS comments, “We are both humbled and delighted to partner with PRTS in this new venture. This new program is the culmination of a shared commitment of RBS and PRTS to the authority of God’s Word and to upholding the confessional commitments. We’re so glad that RBS students will have the opportunity to continue their theological education at PRTS.”

Reformed Baptist Seminary was founded in 2005 and is the joint ministry of six Reformed Baptist churches located across the USA. It offers MDiv and MTS degrees by online and modular education. As a presently unaccredited school this new partnership gives RBS students the opportunity to finish out their studies at an accredited school that is highly respected in the Christian community. We are looking forward to seeing a closer connection with PRTS as our new partnership develops.

Founded in 1995, Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary is now an accredited educational institution for granting the MA, MDiv, ThM, and PhD degrees. Its mission is to prepare students worldwide to serve Christ and His church through biblical, experiential, and practical ministry. The seminary numbers close to 150 students, has ten professors, twenty globally renowned scholars as adjunct faculty, and a support staff of twelve.
